This is the door where Mr. Martin Luther posted the "Ninety-Five Theses."
One of the main Protestant doctrines (the 5 "solas") is the "sola Scriptura" which means "in the Scripture alone" in English. Protestants, mostly those very much influenced by Mr. Martin Luther, believes that every doctrine/practice/dogma must be got from the holy Bible alone. For short, sola Scriptura doctrine is instructing Protestants to "have faith in the Scripture alone" or "credere in sola Scriptura" in Latin. The R.C.C. is against the sola Scriptura "doctrine." Why? Let's find out.
Where in the Bible was sola Scriptura taught?
I've tried to find the phrase "Scripture alone" in the Bible but there was no any phrase like "Scripture alone" or any verse containing the two words "Scripture" and "alone." To prove it, I used e-Sword and I searched in the K.J.V. bible (an English Protestant bible) the phrase "Scripture alone," and as you can see in the photo above (click the photo to enlarge it), no verse found! Now, let us consult the Latin Bible itself (the Latin Vulgate/Biblia Sacra Vulgata by Saint Jerome, a well Latin translation of the holy Bible).

Now, I searched for the Latin phrase "sola Scriptura" in the whole Biblia Sacra Vulgata by Saint Jerome, doctor of the Church. And, again, as you can see in the photo above (click this to enlarge the photo), no verse with the two words "sola" and "Scriptura" was found in the whole Latin Bible in one verse. No verse in the Latin Bible contains the two words. So, it means that sola Scriptura doctrine itself is not Biblical.
What does the holy Bible taught us about Sacred Traditions?
There are 2 kinds of Sacred Traditions, the traditions taught by the mouth of the apostles and traditions taught through epistles. Hey hey hey, what if the Protestant folks ask "is it Biblical?" My answer to that is, just read the verse below. It's very clear!
"Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle." (II Thessalonians II:15, Douai Bible)
Conclusion
It's very sad to know that even though the sola Scriptura doctrine contradicts itself, Protestants are still having firm faith to that doctrine. Let us accept the truth that:
I - The sola Scriptura doctrine is not true.
II - The sola Scriptura doctrine contradits itself.
III - There are traditions taught by the apostles through words and we have to follow them.
